Two Church Music Directors Team Up to Raise Money for the Food Bank
Zoe Vandermeer, dramatic coloratura soprano, will be singing vocally olympic arias and heart
warming sacred selections to kick off the holiday season. Accompanied by Max Vladimiroff, the
audience will also be treated to piano solos by Liszt and Chopin.

Zoe Vandermeer reviewed as an ‘artist of genius’ in Spain’s Diari de Balears, is a prize-winning
graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, tours internationally, is the music
director at St. John’s Episcopal in New Milford, and teaches singing at her studio in
Gaylordsville, New York City and at the Hartford Children’s Theatre. www.zoevandermeer.com
Max Vladimiroff is a graduate of Gnessin College of Music in Moscow, and holds an MFA in
music composition from the University of California. He recently received the Longfellow
Chorus Award of Distinction for writing a new choral work ‘The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls’.
Vladimiroff teaches piano at his studio in Brookfield and he is the music director at the Valley
Presbyterian Church in Brookfield.
Both Vandermeer and Vladimiroff are members of the Music Teachers National Association and
the Western Connecticut Music Teachers Association.
